Invoices that build themselves from work you already approved

How an invoice gets built

From tracked hours to a finished invoice

01

Source records

SIPAG hours and task attribution feed directly into a draft invoice.

02

Recurring fields

Rates, roles and recurring line items carry over automatically each period.

03

Review

The professional can review the draft before it's submitted.

04

Approval

The client approves the invoice, confirming the amount owed.

05

Connects to payment

An approved invoice flows straight into PayStaff Pay for funding.

Adjustments

What happens when something needs to change

Not every period is exactly the same — a rate changes mid-month, a public holiday needs to be excluded, or a client wants to dispute a specific line item before approving the rest. Automated invoicing doesn't mean inflexible invoicing.

Adjustments are made against the specific invoice and recorded as part of its history, rather than silently overwriting the original numbers. That keeps the audit trail intact on both sides, and keeps PayStaff Protect able to reference exactly what changed and why.
