Purpose
Prohibited Activity
- Using PayStaff to process payments for work that was not actually performed, or to route funds unrelated to a genuine client-professional engagement.
- Falsifying SIPAG records — including editing tracked time to misrepresent hours worked, or asking another person to complete tracked sessions on your behalf.
- Attempting to circumvent PayStaff’s fee structure by arranging payment outside the platform for work initiated or verified through it.
- Uploading unlawful, infringing or fraudulent documentation during identity or business verification.
- Interfering with the security or operation of the platform, including attempting to access another user’s account or data without authorisation.
Appropriate Use of SIPAG
Clients may only enable screenshot capture or activity tracking for a relationship where it has been disclosed to and accepted by the professional. SIPAG data may not be used to make decisions about a professional’s pay or continued engagement without also considering the actual work produced — see Activity Tracking for PayStaff’s guidance on responsible use.
Enforcement
PayStaff may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this policy, and may withhold a pending payout while investigating a suspected breach connected to that transaction. Where a breach may involve unlawful activity, PayStaff may be required to report it to the relevant authority in Australia or the Philippines.
Reporting a Concern
To report a suspected breach of this policy, or an urgent security concern, contact trust@paystaff.com. Urgent security issues are triaged on the same business day; other reports are reviewed within 3 business days.
